2024 Summer Picnic

Join us on Saturday, August 3rd at St. Stan’s Polish Club, 144 South St., Warren, MA for our annual summer picnic!

10:00 – 12:00 – Sugarhouse Visits

Sugarhouses that will be open will include:

• Deer Meadow Farm, 60 Reed St., Warren
  Richard Julian and his family are a small family owned farm. They are passionate about making syrup and feel that passion is evident in the quality of the syrup they sell.
• Bucket List Maple Syrup, 84 Long Hill Rd, West Brookfield
  Tom Mead & Martha Bryenton took over Shaler Combs sugarbush and in 2015 built their sugarhouse and have a 2 X 6 evaporator. They now have 600 taps on gravity and have received a grant now have a hobby RO and automatic draw off with a new filter press on the way.
• Naultaug Farm, 1 Bridges Rd, West Brookfield
  Amy Dugas and Jeff Robbins of Naultaug Farm in West Brookfield have made maple syrup on their 1790s era farm for the past 20 years.  They built their sugarhouse using pine and hemlock from their own woodlot in 2010.  Using 225 plus taps/buckets, their time spent sugarin’ with family and friends is easily their “best time of the year”.
• Shattuck’s Sugarhouse, 34 Kopec Ave, Belchertown
  They have been making maple syrup in Belchertown since 1975. They offer maple syrup, maple cream, and granulated maple sugar.

1:00: Lunch – St. Stan’s Polish Club, 144 South St, Warren, MA

Lunch will be served by the St. Stan’s Polish Club – grilled chicken, baked potato, roll, salad with maple dressing, cash bar (no outside food/drink, no pets allowed).
