Dan’s Veggies came into existence in 2007 when our youngest son, Dan, needed a summer job & we built the sugar house in 2009. Poplar Mountain Maple produced its first syrup in 2010. Warren comes from a long line of sugarmakers on both sides of his family going back at 100+ years and Dan is learning the traditional way of making syrup alongside his Dad. Poplar Mountain Maple is operated by Warren, Jacquelyn and Daniel Boyden. The veggie side has changed a bit because children grow up! Since 2013, Dan’s Veggies has been operated by Warren and Jacquelyn Boyden. All our veggies are grown onsite and picked daily. We offer quality produce at reasonable prices. We are open year around for maple syrup products and May – November for vegetables and flowers.

We are open year around for the sale of maple products.  The Sugarhouse is open during the Maple Season which varies from February to April.  The Farm Stand is open from May – November for plants, veggies and maple products.. We sell 1/2 gallons, quarts, pints, 1/2 pints and 1/2 pound containers of maple cream.  Please contact us via telephone, email or Facebook at Dan’s Veggies and Poplar Mt Maple if you are interested in purchasing maple syrup products.

During the May – November season, we grow and sell a large number of vegetables including greens (Kale, Lettuce, Collards & Chard), cucumbers, summer squash and zucchini, potatoes, tomatoes, corn, radishes, peppers, eggplant, sunflowers and zinnias, broccoli, blueberries, cider, peaches, pears, cabbage, bok choi, butternut and acorn winter squash, popcorn, watermelon and cantaloupe.
